Creating a blogging platform
I know this sounds very basic. Almost every developer reaches a point where they decide to build a blog platform. In fact, creating a blogging app has become one of those common side projects people start as soon as they become comfortable with coding.
However, what I am building is not just another blogging platform.
Most existing solutions are either too complicated, packed with features most writers never use, or heavily focused on creators becoming marketers. Users spend more time configuring themes, plugins, SEO settings, analytics, and integrations than actually writing.
The platform I am planning takes a different approach.
The goal is simple: remove the friction between having an idea and publishing it online. A user should be able to sign up, get their own blog instantly, connect a custom domain if they want, and start writing within minutes. No server management, no plugin hunting, no technical setup, and no unnecessary distractions.
It is designed for people who want ownership of their content without the complexity of managing a website. Writers, developers, students, professionals, and hobbyists should be able to focus on publishing their thoughts while the platform handles everything else behind the scenes.
Instead of competing on feature count, the focus is on simplicity, speed, reliability, and a clean writing experience. The philosophy is straightforward: the best blogging platform is often the one that gets out of the writer's way.
That is the problem I am trying to solve. Not by building more features, but by removing the ones that do not matter.
